RUGBY BALL TO-NIGHT
TWO ORCHESTRAS ENGAGED. When patrons walk into the Mangamutu Hall to-night for the Rugby Ball they will be pleasantly surprised at the transformation which has been effected. The orchestral stage has been placed in a far more advantageous position and the general decorations have been heightened. Everything is in readiness lor a brilliant function. The Donnevirke representative football team will be in attendance and a record number of visitors are anticipated from neighbouring districts. A special cloakroom has been arranged for men where the committee undertakes to take charge of coats and hats for a nominal fee. Ken Hicks’s popular orchestra and the Denza Dance Band will leave nothing to he desired in the matter of music. A most tempting homemade supper will be served as will claret cup between the dances. This function appeals as a remarkably attractive one in view of the low admission charges and it bids fair to be the ball of the season at Mangamutu.
