ROUGH TRIP TO SYDNEY
ALL BLACK RUGBY TEAM. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SI dNEY, June 21. The Mamma had a rough crossing from Wellington and the All Black Rugby team suffered considerably and proved much loss redoubtable as shipboard trenchermen than as they are reputed to lie on the football field. The majority of other passengers also found the voyage unusually trying and were glad to get ashore to the sunshine even though it is still cold. The team was welcomed officially by the New South Wales Rugby Union, the president of which is Mr Woods, and Sir Henry Braddon addressed a few remarks of felicitation to Mr W allace and his men and indulged in interesting reminiscences covering the period since the first New Zealand visit to Australia in .1884. The manager, Mr Wallace, the captain and vice-captain briefly responded. llie All Blacks indulged in practice this afternoon at the cricket ground to get the stiffness out of their limbs.
