THE MANGAMAIRE INSTITUTE

The Alangamaire Institute held its monthly meeting on Ist of June. Nearly all members were present and several visitors were welcomed. A new member, Mrs Martin Smith, was welcomed. The monthly competition was won by Airs L. Wards and Airs J. Brosnalian. A very interesting and delightful demonstration was given by Airs Delahanty on basket-making with flax and raffia A pleasant afternoon tea was handed round by the hostesses, AJesdames Ward and Wi I Is. The roll call was well responded to, and the next one was to be the “Children’s Funny Sayings.” A bring and buy stall brought in a. useful amount towards the Institute’s funds.
