Holmes,, a well-known farmer at Teanga was thrown from a horse which bolted yesterday He received a compound lra,ctur Cl of the thigh. When lying helpless on the ground bulls approached the scene and attempted to reach Holmes but clogs kept them back. The unfortunate man wqs lying on the ground for some time ' before rescued by lii,s brother. He was taken to hospital where complications ensued and he died last night. He leaves a wife and several children.
