Miss Amy Johnson arrived at the Moonee Valley racecourse in a Moth aeroplane a couple of hours late. The De Haviland which carried her got lost in blinding rain and mist and was unable to land. NEW YORK, June 15. Foreign Rotarians have arrived on the Caronia to attend the convention in Chicago from June 23 to June 27.

Among the arrivals were Miss Amy Johnson’s family, Mr and Mrs J. W. Johnson and their daughter Mollie.

Mr Johnson apparently has been the most important man on board the liner and very popular. He said he had been confident that Amy would attain her purpose. “She always has been a determined girl. She deserves everything she may get by her daring feat. We are all very proud of her. It has been very gratifying to hear all the pleasant things said about Amy on the voyage and on arrival here. We will tell her all about it when she comes home.” He stated that he and Mrs Johnson expected to meet their daughter at Marseilles on July 16.
