MEN’S HOCKEY.

CLUB AT KOHINUI. At a meeting held at Kohinui last evening when a large gathering of players met. it was unanimously decided to start a men’s hockey team in the district, to k e called tlie Huiltiai Men’s Hockey Club. By all accounts the club is geinn- to strive hard to regain the championship for the north end. Mr S. Bolton was elected patron, Mr J. Rose president. Mr Shi Idon secretary and tieaisurer. and Mr W. Rose, club captain. The men of tic. district are keen to surpass the high position held by the ladies’ team and soon will get down to solid practice. All Kohinui will be v. a idling them in their initial games and a lively interest is being taken in the sport by one and all.
