NEW ZEALAND V. AUSTRALIA VISITORS SUPERIOR. Electric Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, March 7. Tlie test tennis match between New Zealand and Australia was commenced at tlie Wilding Park courts to-day. The weather was cool and overcast, with a light, easterly breeze. Australia won all the matches but one. Generally, the visitors were superior in court craft and had better command, control and speed and made fewer mistakes. Results are (Australian names first) : Singles: Teague lost to Wilson, 6 —B, I—6. 4—6; Kalms beat France, 63. B—6. 6 —l ; Sproule beat Angas, 6—l. C —2. B—6; Donohoe beat Bartleet, 6—3. 6—2, 4—6, 7—9, B—6. Doubles: Kalms and Teague beat Angas and France, 3—6, 6—3, 6—o, 75 ; Sproule and Donohoe beat Bartleet and Wilson, 3—6, 6^— 4, 10—8, 6—2.
