The Methodist Synod yesterday. the Rev. W. A. Hurley (Thames) presiding over the ministerial committee. The Rev. F. Gardner Brown was unanimously recommended to be received into full connection of the ministry. R. Day and S. Hindmarsh were recommended to the conference as candidates, and H. Thomas was passed as a Home Missionary probationer.
