Mr and Airs W. Miller, of Kumeroa left fpr Packakariki Airs Cuming, T.iie of the Rev. W. ,15. Cuming, is at present an inmate of the Dannevirke Hospital.. Mr M. O. Grainger, chairman ana Mr J. M. Graham, clerk, left for Wellington to attend the Counties Conference. Air Halford, lately manager for Alessrs Selby and Tripe, of Ormondville, with lias wife and family, have, taken up farming m this district. Afiss Mildred Nelson staged an entertainment at Eketahuna to a packed house, in aid of the Roman Catholic Chin-ch. The programme included items by Alisses Gwen Loader and Joan Nash, of Wcodville, and there were various ballets by pupils of Aliss Nelson, all of which had a great reception. Tli© concert held in the Kumcroa Hall was a splendid success, and Airs Macdonald, who trained the children is deserving of the greatest credit for the very efficient manner in which they carried out their part of tire programme.
