At the Feilding Magistrate’s Court yesterday a young man named Richard George Harland was charged with having carnal knowledge of i girl 4|uler 12 years of ago. The alleged offence took place at Apiti. Defendant pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial at the Palmerston North sessions in February next. Aroused was admitted to bail on two sureties of £IOO each.
