IN HOUSE OF LORDS. Electric Telegraph—Press Association LONDON, April 6. Sir Joseph Cook, referring to a suggestion that 8 members of the House of Lords’ staff, wev e poisoned by arsenic from apples declared that apparently there is no evidence that such was the case, but the suggestion is particularly unfortunate in view of the Fertidale’s arrival. He added that the Commonwealth had arranged specialty stringent supervision anj inspections to‘ prevent arsenic in apples.
