BEAM WIRELESS TESTS

AUSTRALIA AND CANADA. Electric Telegraph— Dress Association OTTAWA, December 20. The beam tests between Australia and Canada are expected to commence early in 1927. The mast system and aerials have already been erected at Drummondville, Yainacliielie, whilst the receiving equipment for the station at Aaeso is ready. The transmitter, which is being built in England, should be shipped any clay now, permitting tests two or three weeks later.

It is understood that tire England —Australia beam will probably be open to the public before the Canada—Australia service is ready.
