OLDEST CUSTOMS OFFICER.’ Electric Telegraph—Tress Association AUCKLAND. This Day. Alexander Ross, who died on Saturday, aged 86, had been seventy years in New Zealand. He was the oldest customs officer in the Dominion. when he retired from the position of collector of customs at Auckland in 1905.
