ASKING TOO MUCH
A gentleman walking along the road a few days ago was accosted by a little boy who asked him for a penny for the miissioners. Rather interested in such matters, the gentleman asked him for what missioners lie wanted the penny. “The missioners as go out to teach the heathen,” replied the youngster. Half-a-dozen other questions got nq more definite information. but the boy brightened up when lie was asked where the missioners went to, and promptly replied : “To China, sir.” “And what do they teach the heathens when they get to China?” asked the gentleman. “Look ’ere, guv’nor,” saiid flie lad, scornfully, “bow do 1 know \ou want to know tt> > much.
