COSTLY CURIOSITY
BULL IN A DWELLING-HOUSE. A curious bull, reminiscent of the proverbial bull in ’the china, shop, caused some excitement as well as damage at Para.wai rocs'ntlv. The bull was being driven from Knuneranga to lb<- Thames nouiul and seeing an open gate walked through on to Mr Cornelius McPike’s section. The front door ol the bouse being open the animal continued its investigations, wandering through to the kitchen, wilier** it became invo'v I in a struggle with a table, a couch and some crockery. Triumphing over all its opponents, and smashing each in turn, tlm bull entered a bedroom', where more damage was done, mirrors being specially singled out as subjects for destruction. The theory advanced i.s that the animal saw bims self in tlie glass and charged. When the police arrived, the bull had derided on a change of aiii* ami again went outside, leaving a scene of wreckage inside.
