WALKLEY'S CHEAP GROCERIES.
In these days of ever-increasing cost of living the thrifty housewife has to search more than ever for keen values in groceries and househeld lines. At Mr TYalkley’s store. Manga tainoka. she has the opportunity of securing some bargains. This is particularly so as regards Christmas goods. At sokne stores, seasonable fruits are priced very high, but Mr Walkley being a wholesale cash buyer, gripped the market-before the advances took place ,and he is thus able to give custodiers unusual value for cash. In this issue lie quotes the reasonable prices prevailing at His establishment for ’Xmas currants, raisins, sultanas, peel, icing sugar, assorted jellies, sheep tongues, ox tongues, Ch.ri.sfim as hams, factory bacon, and boxes of tea. Best factory butter is quoted at Is 6d per lb and several other lines are claimed to be below prices charged in Pehiatua. Mr Walkley reports an increasing number of customers in this town. The special prices quoted to-day are delivered for cash, and they hold good ti ll the 20th inst.
