Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at their Woodville sale held on Monday. they had a full yarding of sheep and a small one of cattle. Buyers wor<> in evidence from the Manawatu. and bidding wet considerably keener than the pest several sales. Fat ewes mad* from 18<? to 19s lid, fat lambs 15» (id to 16s 6d, cull lamhs 10s to 12s, inferior lambs 8s to 9s 6d, 4. 6, an® 8 tooth ewes 19s 3d to 21 s Id, mixed age ewes 15s 8d to 17s, 5 year ewes 17s 6d to 18s Id. Fat cattle showed a marked increase in prices ruling lately. Fat cows sold freely from £8 15s to £9 10s, fair conditioned cattle £5 17s 6d to £8 15is heifers in calf £3 to £4. bulb £5 17 s 6d to £» 10s
