MARIMA.

(From Our Own Correspondent). On Friday evening a dance was held in aid of the Tennis Club. Owing to a counter-attraction at Mangamaire the attendance was not as large as usual. A special point is made at the Marima dances of having a good supper to offer patrons, and I notice pains arc taken to nihke each individual enjoy the evening. The dance music was supplied by Mrs Peterken, Miss Bennison and Mr Peterken. A song was rendered hv Mi's Peterken. Mr Peterken officiated as M.C. 1 am given to understand that the next dance i- to In' a fancy dress af-. fair in aliout a fortnight. As the milking season has non com me need the country people will not feol like attending many dances. The cowbail dance is very satisfying.
