TOO MANY COOKS.

NEAY HEBRIDES HANDICAPPED. Electric Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Received this day at 8.40 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. Dr. Crombie a medical missionary, states that New Hebrides islands are hampered through being under dual control. At the present time, he says, there are six different courts in operation. Still, a much better feeling prevails between the French and British residents than was the case a few years ago. The French seem to be trying to enforce the law against, breadies of tlie regulations, and doing wliat they can to carry them out. Tlie Islands, however, will never do any good commercially or otherwise until they are under one Government.
