Airs A. E. Jull, of Waipawa. was a visitor to Pahiatua to-day. Air G. C. Aliller (town clerki returned yesterday from a visit to Wellington where he spent the holidays. Captain Haydon. councillor. aAlavor, and ex-President of the Chamber of Commerce, was entertained by the citizens of Palmerston North and presented with a gold medal on the eve of his departure on a visit to Europe.

A meeting of Alothodist officials of Hawera decided to extend a call in 1913 to the Rev. O. E. Blamiros. The resolution is subject to confirmation of the quarterly meeting and the annual conference. Rev. Mr Bla mires was ill Pahiatua this week. Afr A. E. Alea rns, of Sydney, has been transferred to the Pahiatua branch "t the Union Bank of Australia. Air Abe ms succeeds Air A. V . Chambers, wlm ha- ■-iv promoted to Dunedin, and he hsw taken up his duties here as accountant.
