A COMMISSION. Electric Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, This Day. Hon. E. Mitchelson, Messrs W. Ferguson, and J. E. Watson, the special commission appointed by the Harbour Board to report on the commercial aspects of the Sumner canal proposal, met at Christchurch to-day. Hon. K. Mitchelson was appointed chairman. The commission will probably sit for a week.
