Yesterday, was attended by 2000 people at the pa at AYakapuaka. As the daughter ot the tribal chief Em&no, all tangi honours were paid. About a hundred Maori visitors were present from all parts. Alt Parata, nephew of deceased, delivered an oration in Alaori at the grave, and Archdeacon Grace read the Church of England burial service. The tribe provided hospitality lor all the visitors.
