Worcester and Yorkshire lost two matches each, Surrey and Lancashire three each, Essex lour, and Kent six. (The championship will not be decided lor several weeks. The present' position, however, is interesting, ina-mnrh as it shows a great fliietuation in county superiority. Kent, which won the championship last year, was only hcuhwn twice during the season.
