UniGAVtiu, February 31. A man named Jack Otborru was aanoutdy injured by an explosion of dynamale. He was working on a road contract at Kaa atau, pulling in a charge to blast papa rock. Tbe explosion was premature.
Dvxeiix. February 31. A man was found dead in a bay loft at a farm near MoegieJ. He wu-iren peruiiFMon to sleep on tbe premie* on Friday, and nothing wa« seen of him tail his body wee found last a veiling. Ho has not been identified. La ran. At the inquest the medical e\id«aoa showed that deceased suffered from pneumonia, and a verdict that death was doe to that cause was returned. A letter was found on deceased addre-sed to Mr Hubert son, containing an invito* tion to attend a weddinc. Deceased had been an inmate of the Invercargill hospital, but whether Kobertecn is hie name is not known.
