Tlie authorities of the Lucknow mine intend to apply for the suspension of the labor conditions on the ground that the mine is unworkable owing to the strike. In tbe meantime the manager of tbe mine, after consulting with the Crown Solicitor, has written to the Minister, who states the act does not recognise such cases as one of unworkableness.
