A Verdict of not Guilty.

Invercargill, September 22.
The Supremo Court wus occupied all day with the hearing of tho charge uf conspiring to procure abortion against Caroliqe Matthews ami Richard W Hall.
Tho jury after half an hour's retirement returned a verdict of not guilty.
The defence was that Hall simply consulted Dr Terrence to attend Mrs Matthews in the event of a natural miscarriage.
