SEVERE EARTHQUAKE.

Rome, Sept. 22.
Severe shocks of earthquake have been experienced here and at Venice and Trieste.
A panic was occasioned amongst the populace in those cities, but only slight damage was done to pro perty and no loss of life is reported.
