ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION OF A PRESIDENT.
- UY KLPKTRK TKLKOR4PH.—COPYRIGHT. — I’KR TRESS ASSOCIATION. News has been received from Mexico that 1111 Italian, while presenting a petition to President Porfirio l>iaz, at tempted to assassinate him with a poinard. The President eluded the blow, and escaped without sustaining any injury.
All last winter Mr Geo. A. Mills, of Lebanon, Conn., waa badly nlHiettul with rheumatism.
