Sydney, This Day. The Minister of Mines, ut Newcastle, presented tho Royal Humane Society’s modal to 48 men who risked their lives in saving their comrades at the Stockton colliery disaster. Eighteen were also preseated with gold medals awarded by the New South Wales Government for bravery.
