Pahiatua Rifle Club.
Th« fine weather yesterday was taken advantage of by the members of the above Club after a considerable delay in shooting •mused by the scarcity of amutunition. ' 1 here was a fair attendance, and taking i u to consideration that practice of late has been' an impossibility, the shooting was fairly good. The competition was for class trophies given by Messrs Renney, G. H. Smith and Tattersall. The conditions are that the trophies are to be won three t’mea by one member befo ' becoming his own property. In A class G. T. Avery secured first “ leg ' in; B. class, C. Saywell ; C class, R. Seymour. Following are the scores:—
