The Railway Revenue for the past year show’s a decrease of £85,000. Sentence of Death. SvpNEY, April 3. Montgomery and Williams have been sentenced to death for attempting to murder the police constables, who endeavoured to effect their arrest on a charge of breaking and entering the Union Shipping Company’s Office. The affair took place early in February, and it will bo remembered several policemen were severely injured in the scuttle. Montgomery was a native of New Zealand. Commuted. M KiißoriiNK, April 3.
