Fishing off the Bluff wharf is a popular sport judging by the large number of people seen in the evenings making their way down to the waterfront with lines, etc. (stated the Bluff correspondent of the Southland Times). One young fisherman had the good fortune to land a sft dog-fish. Several good catches of red cod, ling, etc., have also been repotred.
