The price of rabbit skins in recent times is reflected in the scarcity of rabbits in the vicinity of Otorohanga (reports the Waikato Times). Years ago one could depend upon securing many brace during an afternoon’s shooting, but the activities of rabbiters have now altered that possibility. During last weekend two shooters considered that they were fortunate in returning with one rabbit, the result of some four hours’ search. \
