Horne), members of the Borough Council, representatives of the county, and prominent citizens. The Mayor tendered Sir Joseph Ward a welcome, and congratulated him on his election as Prime Minister. He referred eulogistically to Sir Joseph’s long and brilliant career, and said he hoped he would be long spared to continue his work.
