The break in the transmission line from Alangahao has been located and put right so far as the east line is concerned. On Friday night the fault in the other line yvas still being sought. Air Kissell remarked on Saturday that the trouble on the east line yvas at Paraparaumu. He had knoyvn of fire engines going out in California and washing insulators every tyvo or three yveeks, but that yvas in flat country, and anything of the kind yvas out of the question in the hilly country here. The insulators had to be cleaned by hand. Alen were at present going over the line cleaning all the insulators.
