SOUTHLAND WOOLLEN MILLS (LIMITED).
MEETING OF DIRECTORS. ’ (From Our Own Correspondent.) GORE, January 27. . A meeting of the directors.of the Southland Woollen Mills (Ltd.) was held on Wednesday. Mr F, Wallis, jun. (chairman), presided, and the other directors present were Messrs Peterson, Morris, Ellis. Halliday, Brodrick, Green, Brownlie, Fleming, and Usherwood. The Secretary submitted the annual balance sheet, which was approved, and ordered to be printed for presentation at the annual meeting, which will be held on March 23. Routine business was also transacted, and correspondence read. It is understood that the question of the continuation or otherwise of the company will be brought up at the annual meeting of shareholders.
