BOWLING

BY

JACK.

Auckland equalled the record established by Dunedin in January, 1926 by running the tournament games off according to schedule. The bowlers, as was the case in Dunedin, experienced an almost unbroken spell, of fine weather, so that practically no time was lost in keeping with tile programme arranged. Dunedin bowkirs are naturally disappointed at tne defeat of Stewart in the final of the rinks, more especially as at one stage in the game the result seemed a foregone conclusion, the Dunedin rink having a load of 19 to 7. That stage, however, saw the tide turn with a vengeance, the Dunedin men failing to add to their score, while the Wanganuites brought their score from 7 to 22. DOMINION CHAMPIONS.
