THE LAST WEEK.

Following a great triumph the 26th opened quietly at the Exhibition, and rain in the morning threatened bad weather for the afternoon and evening. Yet the crowds came in satisfactory numbers, and in the evening the last interim prize was won. Though Logan Park was quiet during the day, the special concert by the Exhibition Choir and the Band of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders attracted a particularly large Monday attendance in the evening. The Amusements Park was a popular resort for residents and newcomers alike. The total of visitors was 23,128.
