Passenger fares on the Aorangi and Niagara, between Auckland and Sydney f are to be increased by £2 to regulate bookings, the mail steamer being almost invariably crowded, while ordinary steamers could carry more comfortably. The steamer Harfield arrived at Auckland from Nauru on after a protracted passage of 14 days.
