Word has been reoeived by the Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister of Marine, by radio from the Chatham Islands that the missing schooner France arrived at Pitt Island and that it was prevented by gales from reaching Stewart Island. The schooner will proceed shortly to Waitangi, in the Chathame, and thence to Auckland.
