WEATHER IN SMILING MOOD
A perfect day of sunshine followed by a mild and calm evening drew a particularly largo atendancte to the Exhibition on T.ies day. The whole Exhibition awoke after days of comparative quiet, and took a new lease of brilliant, pulsating life. From the moment when the main gates opened a steady stream of visitors poured into Logan Park, and the morning attendance was estimated as the greatest since the opening day. In the afternoon the crowd was again very large, and the evening attendance ex veeded all expectations. In all 16,148 people wore counted by the turnstiles, and moto. traffic was heavy. The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders’ band made a welcome re appearance in tho Grand Court band ro tnnda where programmes were given in the afternoon and evening. The attendance at the rotunda during the evening wae reminiscent of the opening days, and offered an eloquent tribute to the popularity of the famous band.
