SUCCESSFUL OPENING MEETING. There was a good attendance and fine veal her for the opening of the June meeting of the Dunedin Coursing Club at Forbury Park on Thursday afternoon. The game was exceptionally strong, and there were only three kill 3 during the first and eecond rouivds of the two stakes. Mr H. S. Irving, of Roslyn Bush, Southland, was judge, and the slipper was Mr E. G. Price. The work of both, these officials met with the entire satisfaction cf the leashmen. EVEREST MEMORIAL STAKES. The hares were well trained, and in many cases successfully eluded their pursuers.
