OTAGO EXPANSION LEAGUE.
The monthly meeting of the Executive Committee of the League was held on (lie Ist, Air Charles Todd presiding. A considerable amount of correspondence was dealt with, amongst which was a communication from the Hon. G. ,T. .Anderson regarding the placing of a large vessel upon Lake Wr.naka and promising to look inio the matter of regulations governing the size of such a craft. The absolute necessity of such an improvement in the lake service has long been stressed bv the league and it is confidently honed that an improved service will shortly te inaugurated. /V Dunedin business man travelling in the United States wrote pointing ont the dearth of information about the dominion to be found in various information buremx transport companies, offices, and hotel lounges, although the Australian States and cities are fully advertised, and suggesting that the Government should be impressed to make more widely known the scenic advantages and marvels of this count rv. Failing that tne league might find an outlet for its energies in this direction as far as Otago is concerned.
