The opinion that New Zealand leads the world in juvenile dancing was expiessed the other day by a Wanganui resident who speaks with authority (states the Crhomcle). This gentleman considered that the precocity of the dominion’s youngsters, particularly in Highland dancing, was little short of marvellous. “What could be finer.” he asked, “than to see a well-pro-portioned child in a fling or a reel, a hornpipe, or a jig 1” A “refresher” course for agricultural instructors, the first, of its kind in New Zealand, has been opened at the Ruakura forr i of instruction, Hamilton.
