CUT IN DANISH PRICES. LONDON, January 26. The colonial butter market is slightly] less active, principally owing to a redud* tion of 20s in the price of Danish, is now selling at 180 s ; but the consump* tion is still satisfactory. Salted NeW Zealand, choicest, is quoted at 140 s t 6 1455: secondary 125 a to 130 s; choicest unsalted, 140 s to 1425; secondary, 125 a to 1355. Cheese is in firmer demand, £tnd is improving. New Zealand white, 90s to 92s f coloured, 94s to 965; Australian white, 84s to 86s; coloured, 88s to 903. The importers are complaining bitterly of the delay in discharging the New Zealand butter ships, notably the Tainul (which arrived on January 5 and only a few boxes from which "have been discharged) and the Raranga (which arrived on January 14 and which has not yei unloaded any of her butter).
