A MOOT POINT.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin,- I agree with Mr J. S. Watson, Waima.te, that there is every reason to believe that Christ and the apostles were white. Ihe Jews, Maronites, Druses, Syrians, and Armenians are white, and they belong to Palestine and neighbourhood, and it follows, then, that Christ and the apostles wore white also. ‘‘The History of the Jewish Race," illustrated, a large book, makes all this clear. The large body of highly educated men. the Anglo-Israelites, who believe that the 10 lost tribes of Jews who went: north to the Caspian Sea in 900 n.('., and then westward to Bngl and to fulfil prophesies and become t lie* chosen people, can now extend their arguments on tlie same line to the Japanese in the light of recent, events. If the Jews want to form a new nation the Tower of KabeL would be history repeating itself, for they must bo speaking at least ICO languages.— I am, eio.. Rich \im Norman. Mersey street, Oamaru, July 2.
