POSTAL SERVICES FROM AUCKLAND. WELLINGTON, February 24. The Postal Department has made arrangements with the New Zealand Flying School at Auckland to perform experimental aerial mail services over a limited period between Auckland and Thames, Auckland and Dargaville, and Auckland and Whangarei. There will probably be two or three trips weekly over each of the routes mentioned. An aerial mail is being despatched from Auckland to Thames to-day, the plane re*, turning in the afternoon. It is proposed to make a second trip to and from Thames on Thursday.
