Tho ascent of Bon Lomond, which to visitors constitutes one of the "lions'' of the district, was on the 2nd inst. made a record climb on the part of two young- lady visitors (states tho Lake Wakatip Mail). The ladies wero 'Misses Margaret O'Leary and Violet Watson, of Dunedin, and the time taken for the ascent and return to the town was exactly five hours.
