JELLICOE'S TROTTING MEETING.
DISPOSAL OF PROFITS. CHRISTCHURCH, September IS. A meeting of the Committee of Management of tho Jellicoo complimentary trotting meeting was held to consider the allocation of proiits, which amounted to £ISSO. It was decided to voto £SO to the Red Cross Society for_ providing comforts for "Wounded soldiers in the Chalmers military ward, and £IOO to the Returned Soldiens' Association Building Fund. A sub-com-mittee- was appointed to administer the
bslauco for the benefit of tho widows and orphans of soldiers and tho dependents _of wounded soldiers, with a. recommendation that £IOO be alloted to provide comforts for tho social welfare of soldiers in tho Consumption Sanatorium.
