What is believed to be a record price for Wellington for green pens —the first lot received this season from tho Nelson district—wa.3 obtained last week. The pons, of which •there was only a limited supply, wore grown at Briehtwater and were sold at 7s per peck, cr 6d per peek more than was realised for tha first shipment from Nelson last year.
